Here are some a list of “what to dos†on your job interview which you might find useful.
• Dress Up Properly – You need to pay attention on how you look on your job interview day. Impress your interviewers with an attire suitable to the workplace but still gives you a fresh and perky look.
• Be Prepared – You need to prepare yourself days before the actual interview. You search the web for the most common or toughest interview questions. Of course, don’t forget to bring your updated resume if in case someone needs it.
• Be Confident and Be Conscious of how you look – If you’re nervous, try your best to hide it. Be confident on the way you walk and the way you converse with your interviewer. You also might want to check on how you look in front of a mirror.
• Be serious – It is not that appropriate to tell a joke on job interviews. Show that you are serious about the job you’re applying for. Address your interviewer as mister or miss unless if they asked you to call them by their first name or nickname.
Of course there are a lot of what to do and what not do in job interviews.
Good luck!

Job interviews can sometimes be a game of luck. But it doesn’t mean that just because you’re smart you don’t have to prepare for it. Improving your interview IQ, or the measure of your ability to answer interview questions, is crucial for you to advance in the next stage of the hiring process.
Practicing good nonverbal communication is one way to boost your interview IQ. Take time to correct your posture, perfect your eye contact and make firm hand shake. This way, you get to increase your self-confidence when the time comes that you meet the naturally intimidating hiring manager

I have a friend who used to be very confident about himself. Well, I guess he had the right to be so back then since he was really smart and has an MBA to boot. But one job interview changed his high perspective about himself. He did not ace that interview because he was not able to give a satisfactory answer to a somewhat tough question.
Interview questions can come through a game of luck, with them varying from easy to extremely difficult. To succeed in a job interview, serious preparations are a must.
Here are some of the toughest interview questions based from an article at ArticleFrenzy.com:
1. Talk about yourself? (Prepare for 2 minutes)
2. If you were a leader of a country, what problem would you tackle first and why?
3. If you made a film about yourself, who would play your character?
4. Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?
5. Describe a tennis ball.
There is no right or wrong answer to the above questions. It’s how you explain and justify your answer that matters.

When you are scheduled for a job interview, your friends would always advice you to dress appropriately. This is also what you could read in most books, always emphasizing the need to appear presentable in front of the hiring manager.
Appearance really matters during the interview. Why? Because whether you like it or not, people are judged based on appearance. The way you dress up conveys a lot of meaning about your personality. It creates impression about you and yourself alone.
It is important that you dress up like a seasoned professional. Always remember that being overdressed is better than being underdressed. But if you could wear tailored business suits, which are always a safe option for both men and women, the better.

Everybody is sure to have a mobile with them on their job hunting adventures so why not go mobile when using online sites? Online job posting and searching has never been easier with the advent of smartphones that allow access to the internet. Online job hunting is never easier for sites such as JobFox and others have launched mobile web portals to allow mobile users to access their services. Many sites can also be accessed through many means allowing you more chances to get up to date information about your posted resume.
There is still a lot of work to be done for getting a schedule for an interview is just the first step. Prepare general requirements ahead of time by doing advance research on your area of specialization. Be ready to present what you know and learn from others as much as you can so you come as prepared as you can. Remember there are thousands applying for the same position so be competitive and do your best. Present all information as fact and avoid fictitious information that can haunt you at a later time. Develop proper rapport and answer respectfully (please don’t BEG).

Job hunting is not easy especially if you are new to it like those newly graduate who look for a job, or those under graduate who cannot continue their studies because of financial constraint. that’s why i suggest to those who are new to job hunting to ask your friend how did they do their first job hunting experience. one way that i call traditional job hunting is going to different companies and asking if they have vacancy. if they have no vacancy they will ask you to leave your resume so that they can contact you if they you for future reference. but i don’t suggest this type of job hunting because it requires a lot of effort, time, and money. imagine you will walk to and fro to look for a job and then you will spend money for your food, transportation, and miscellaneous. but then you are still not sure if you will be accepted. what a waste of time and effort?
