It is graduation time once again this spring. A new batch of graduates is about to join the work force and they are in for a pleasant surprise. According to projections from a survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), employers plans a 16% increase in the hiring of new graduates to replace the baby boom generation that is approaching retirement age.
This news will surely boost the morale of new graduates as they rise up to the challenge of finding employment in a time where the labor market in general is registering a slow growth. Graduates whose majors include marketing, engineering and computer science are particularly encouraged to be vigilant in job search as they belong to the fields that are in high demand this year.
